
Terms & Conditions
1. Car Pick-up: to collect the vehicle, the client hereinafter referred to as the “Renter” and any additional drivers need to show a valid ID or passport, an original driver's license and a credit card to pay for the rental and the guarantee. The amount of the guarantee will vary according to the rental category as per our website.
2. Age requirements: Drivers must be between the age of 23 and 75 years old and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience. If any driver not listed in the Car Hire Agreement, hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement’’, operates the vehicle, the Agreement will be immediately terminated and the vehicle shall be returned to the Company, hereinafter referred to as the “Company’’.
3. Payment method: Valid credit cards only (cash, debit cards or prepaid cards are not accepted).
4. Deposit for Guarantee: The Company will preauthorize an amount from the driver's credit card as a deposit for the guarantee which will be fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided no other charges and/or damages arise and/or any violations of the Agreement.
Please note that the refund can take up to 30 calendar days, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card. The amount of the deposit varies according to the rented vehicle’s group.
5. Grace period: At the end of the agreed rental period, the Company allows a grace period of 30 minutes free of charge after which the Renter will be charged with a minimum of one full day rental.
6. Early Return / Extension of rental: No refund will be allowed for early returns. Ongoing rental extensions should be arranged with the Company at least 48 hours before the intended/reserved rental expiry, to be charged according to the applicable rates as per our website.
7. Vehicle Return Inspection: Please be aware that our Company requires approximately 30 minutes to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and review the necessary paperwork upon return. We strongly advise planning your schedule accordingly, as we cannot be held responsible if this process causes any delays. Please ensure you arrive earlier in order to accommodate this inspection time.
8. Client Responsibility for Road Traffic Compliance: All Renters renting vehicles from the Company are required to adhere strictly to all applicable road traffic laws and regulations of the Republic of Cyprus. Failure to comply with these rules may result in fines, penalties and/ or termination of the Agreement. Renters are responsible for any legal consequences resulting from traffic violations committed during the rental period.
9. Traffic Fines: All traffic fines are the Renter's responsibility. All fines should be paid during the rental period. However, note that some fines may be served a few months after the rental period. In such cases, Renter’s are also responsible for paying these fines. The Company retains the right to charge the Renter and/or the Driver’s credit card for any fines, penalties or administrative fees incurred.
10. Additional Driver: The first additional driver is free; any further additions will be charged as per our website rates.
11. Fuel Policy: Renters are not charged for fuel when picking up the car/s. To avoid any fuel charges, please return the car with the same amount of fuel it had at the time of pick-up. If the fuel level is lower upon return, a refuelling fee of €20 will be applied, along with the cost of the missing fuel based on local fuel rates.
12. Baby Seats: Baby seats are available on request. No additional cost for the first seat. Any additional seats will be charged as per our website rates.
13. Out of Boundary Use such as but no limited to Turkish Occupied areas of Cyprus: The Company prohibits the use of its vehicles in the Turkish-occupied areas of Cyprus. Therefore, driving a vehicle in this region is strictly forbidden.
14. Off-road policy: All vehicles, including SUVs, are strictly prohibited from being driven off-road, including but not limited to areas such as the Akamas region. If the rented vehicle is used on off-road areas and sustains damage, the deposit will not be refunded and any additional damage that surpasses the deposit will be charged on the credit card of the Renter.
15. Termination Clause for Improper Use: If at any time the Company becomes aware that the hired vehicle is not handled properly/responsibly and/or payments are not paid on time, i.e. for long-term rental, the Company has the right to terminate the Agreement and take possession of the vehicle at any time at its sole discretion.
16. Cancellations no-shows and Amendments
16.1 Reservations can be made online at least 2 hours before the pick-up time.
• Reservations made within 2 hours and up to 5 minutes before the pick-up time are subject to negotiation and depend on the availability of our fleet.
• You can cancel your reservation up to 5 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.
• If you cancel within the 5-minute period before pick-up, a full refund will be issued to the original payment source.
• If you fail to arrive on time with the necessary documentation and a credit card with sufficient funds for the deposit, we reserve the right to refuse the car. In such cases, unless canceled in advance, no refund will be provided.
16.2 No-Show Policy: A 'No-show' occurs if you:
• Do not inform us of your cancellation before the rental start time.
• Fail to pick up the car at the arranged time and date.
• Do not provide the required documentation.
• Do not present a credit card in the main driver’s name with sufficient funds.
• Are deemed unfit to drive
In any of these cases, no refund will be issued
16.3 Amendments:
• You can amend your reservation online, free of charge, at any time before the reservation starts.
• Certain changes, such as location, car group, or rental time/date, may affect the rental price. You will be charged the current published price if it differs from the original price.
• If your pick-up time is less than 5 minutes away and you need to amend your booking, please call us.
17. Breakdown and Road Assistance: available 24/7 and free replacement of the car if necessary.
18. Minimum rental period: The minimum rental period is 3 days.
19. Other violations: Apart from the aforementioned violations the following violations shall also apply:
19.1 Negligent use of the vehicle
19.2 Overloading the vehicle and exceeding passenger/weight limits
19.3 Use of vehicle for illegal activities
19.4 Unauthorized modifications
19.5 Pet violation if unauthorized
Therefore, in the event of any of the aforesaid violations the Company reserves the right to utilize the security deposit paid at the beginning of the rental period as a penalty for violating the rental Agreement terms.
20. Steps to Avoid Violations:
20.1 Read the Agreement: Thoroughly read and understand the rental Agreement before using the Company’s services.
20.2 Follow the Rules: Adhere to the terms and conditions, privacy policy which form an integral part of the Agreement.
20.3 Report Issues: Immediately report any damage or issues with the car to the Company.
20.4 Communicate: Inform the Company if you anticipate any changes to the rental period or if you need to extend the rental.
20.5 Drive Responsibly: Use the car responsibly and within the permitted usage guidelines.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
* The Company reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time at its sole discretion. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or through other means of communication. It is the responsibility of the Renter to review the Terms and Conditions periodically to stay informed of any updates. Continued use of Company’s services after any changes to the Terms and Conditions constitutes the Renter's acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
